1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site with no government affiliation. It does not store official criminal records, obtain records for visitors, perform official checks, or submit legal or agency forms.

Its content directs readers to Snohomish County custodians and Washington systems, including the Sheriff's Office, court clerks, Washington State Patrol, and the Washington Statewide Registered Sex Offender and Kidnapping Offender Public Website. Agency records follow the Washington Public Records Act, chapter 42.56 RCW, and chapter 10.97 RCW where applicable. Court records follow GR 31 and court procedures. Outside tools may also be linked for independent research.

2. Rules for Using This Site

By using the site, you agree not to:

• Use bots, scrapers, or other automated tools against site pages
• Interfere with site performance or another visitor's access
• Attempt unauthorized entry into any system or account
• Use site information to threaten, harass, or stalk a person
• Rely on site content for hiring, housing, credit, or insurance decisions

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

No one may use information from this site or a linked tool to stalk, intimidate, threaten, harass, or discriminate against another person. Such conduct may also violate the law. This restriction is especially important for information from Washington's registered sex offender system. The public registry exists for safety and community notification, not vigilantism, blacklisting, or discriminatory action. Threats, violence, vandalism, intimidation, and harassment involving registry information may lead to prosecution.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

Snohomish County Criminal History is not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. It does not create consumer reports, credit reports, or official background checks. The site and its advertising partners do not offer tools designed to evaluate applicants, renters, insurance risk, or credit. Information from this site or a linked tool must not be used to:

• Assess creditworthiness or determine an insurance rate
• Screen a renter or other housing applicant
• Make an employment or termination decision
• Decide eligibility for a license, permit, or government benefit
• Carry out any other activity governed by the FCRA

A check required for a regulated purpose must be obtained through Washington State Patrol or a screening provider that complies with the FCRA and all applicable law.

Site content is general information, not legal advice. It cannot determine how a Snohomish County charge, conviction, warrant, vacation rule, or sealing rule applies to a specific person. Individual legal guidance should come from an attorney licensed in Washington.
