This Is Not a Government Office. This private reference site cannot obtain criminal records, perform official checks, change a record, or receive vacation or sealing filings. Those services must come from the government office with legal custody of the material.
Need an Official Record?
Match the record to its Snohomish County or Washington custodian:
- Filed court cases and certified copies: use the criminal court case record routes or contact the clerk of the court that heard the case. The Snohomish County Clerk and Superior Court are at 3000 Rockefeller Avenue, Everett, WA 98201; case and felony warrant information is available at 425-388-3466. Confirm the correct division and current counter hours before visiting.
- Sheriff incident and arrest reports: contact Snohomish County Sheriff Public Records at 3000 Rockefeller Avenue, M/S 606, Everett, WA 98201, or call 425-388-3769. The public counter is open Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and closes from noon to 1:00 p.m.
- Booking and jail material: contact the Snohomish County Main Jail at 3025 Oakes Avenue, Everett, WA 98201, 425-388-3395. Reception is listed Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Washington criminal history: use Washington State Patrol and its Washington Access to Criminal History service for the official public statewide product.
- Police and incident reports: submit the request to the city police department or other law-enforcement agency that created the report. A later county jail booking does not transfer custody of a city police report to the Sheriff.
- Vacation, sealing, and deletion: file a vacation or sealing request with the sentencing court. Requests to delete qualifying nonconviction data from the state file go through the process in chapter 10.97 RCW.
Send each request to the office that owns the source record. The Washington Public Records Act, chapter 42.56 RCW, governs identifiable agency records, while court records follow GR 31 and clerk procedures.
